Alja Lah - Counselling Psychologist in Training

Alja Lah

Alja Lah is a trainee Counselling Psychologist at EASE Wellbeing. She is working towards a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and Existential Psychotherapy at the New School of Psychotherapy and Counselling. Alja also has experience working as a counsellor in a secondary school and independent supported living for autistic young adults. Prior to that Alja worked as a research associate at University of Ljubljana where she was also a member of an initiative committee to introduce mindfulness to schools. After finishing her masters in psychology she volunteered for six months in a non-profit organisation for the rehabilitation and integration of people with mental disorders and disabilities in Mexico. Alja is passionate about phenomenological research of emotions, consciousness, embodiment and dreams. She has a particular interest in helping individuals become more in touch with their emotions and bodies and learn how to read them as a compass for meaningful living.
