Martha Wade - Trainee Psychotherapist

Martha Wade

Martha Wade is a BACP registered Integrative Psychotherapist and is working towards accreditation with EASE wellbeing. In addition, she is a member of the BPS. Martha trained at the University of Roehampton where she completed a BSc in Psychology and Counseling followed by an MA in Integrative Counseling and Psychotherapy. Her specialist interest is in increasing the awareness of the efficacy of psychological interventions among ethnic minorities which led to her conduct a qualitative study at Roehampton on “Avoidance of Counseling & Psychotherapy: A case study on ethnic minorities in North West London”.

She volunteers as a bereavement counselor with Cruse (Kensington) and with MIND and the IAPT service. Martha has a background of diverse life experiences that demonstrates her wide range of personal and professional interest. She has also completed a diploma in pastoral work and has been providing pastoral support for individuals and families in many communities in London.
