Randolph Skomer Quinault - Lead Clinician

Randolph Skomer Quinault is a UKCP registered Integrative Psychotherapist. He trained at Regent’s University, where he completed an MA in Psychotherapy & Counselling Psychology, followed by an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy. He is currently a member of the Regent’s School of Psychotherapy and Psychology. He has a diverse academic background reflecting his wide range of personal and professional interests. He initially completed an MA in Philosophy at the University of St Andrews. He then studied for a Certificate in Arabic and an MA in International and Comparative Legal Studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS). He subsequently completed a Graduate Diploma in Law at City University. In addition to his psychotherapy work, Randolph has worked for many years at the Home Office with asylum seekers, refugees and victims of human trafficking. In recent years he has developed training courses and supervision to address the psychological factors affecting asylum/trafficking staff – including the risk of vicarious trauma through repeated exposure to traumatized individuals and traumatic narratives. In recognition of this work he was awarded the first UKVI Excellence Award – High Performance. He was also short-listed for the Home Office Excellence Awards 2015 and the Equality & Diversity Awards 2015.
